The Process of Creating Together

I approach each commission as a unique collaboration between artist and client. My architectural background informs how I consider the relationship between my work and environment, ensuring each piece responds thoughtfully to its intended space. Currently I have a few open slots available from September 2025. Once they slots are filled, I'll be closing commissions until 2026.

1. Initial Consultation

We begin with a conversation about your vision, the space where the artwork will live, and any specific colours, themes, or emotional qualities you're drawn to. This can happen in person at my studio, via video call, or through an exchange of images and ideas.

2. Proposal

Following our consultation, I'll develop a proposal including:

• Conceptual direction
• Size recommendations
• Material options
  
• Timeline
• Pricing

3. Development

Once the proposal is approved, I'll begin work on your commission, sharing progress updates at key stages. You'll have opportunities for input during this phase, ensuring the final piece aligns with your vision while allowing for the organic development that makes each artwork unique.

4. Completion and Installation

When the work is complete, I'll provide professional documentation of the piece. For larger works, I can arrange delivery and installation services to ensure your new artwork is perfectly positioned in its home.

Considerations

A 30% deposit secures your commission in my schedule, with the balance due upon completion.

To discuss a potential commission, please contact me with a brief description of what you're envisioning. I typically book commissions 2-3 months in advance but occasionally have openings for expedited projects.
